Why AdSense Bans You

If you could just browse through some of the webmasters forums or Adsense you would come across many discussion where you might see the members sharing their experiences with being banned by AdSense as being a publisher. There are several different reasons on why you may be banned from being an AdSense Publisher.

You can find below the reasons why your AdSense Publisher Account might be banned and hence you can take the appropriate steps to avoid such mistakes.

Don’t ever think of clicking your own ads. Since Google has some very advanced tracking mechanism and would easily track your own clicks no matter how tricky and hidden you do this. If you really want to visit an ad displaying your site, just look at the URL of that particular site and type it manually in your browser and visit them rather than visiting such sites through AdSense. Accidental clicks are okay and accepted but not regularly. You can contact the AdSense customer service if you had accidentally clicked your own ad and explain your situation.

Don’t ask others to click your ads. Never ever come into a pact with someone else to click on ads mutually as this would only make the matters worse and would ultimately lead to your ban.

Don’t tell about your existence of your website’s existence to your relatives as they might in the notion of helping you click on the ads in your site repeatedly without knowing that Google monitors such repeated clicks from the same IP and would eventually ban that particular publisher account if found guilty.

Never login to your AdSense account from shared computers or from the computers at work. In shared computers someone else might just visit your website as soon as you have left and might click on your ads, and thus leaving the suspicion that you had click on your ads. When it comes to work computers, the IP will remain same for all the computers at your office and if some of your colleague visits your website and click on your ad it would lead to further trouble with your AdSense Account.

Don’t get illegal traffic such as auto surfing, traffic exchange programs, etc which actually is against Google’s terms of service and would naturally ban your AdSense account if they find out that you indulge in such practices.

Monitor your account activity on a daily basis and see if there is any sudden spike in clicks on your account in any given day and thus raising the suspicion of illegal clicks done by malicious people for various reasons. Just report such instances to Google without fail to avoid from being banned from AdSense.
